Pilates Session 1 to 1
This is a private session; you will
use the mat and the Pilates apparatus. You will be given personal
and detailed attention. The instructor will evaluate your specific
needs; you will then progress according to your abilities. You will
be continuously introduced to new exercises, movements and
principles. You will work on specific body areas, body alignment
and the rehabilitation of an existing injury.
Ideal for: Anyone.
Pilates Session ; Duet
Two participants closely supervised
by one instructor using the mat and Pilates apparatus.
These sessions are ideal for two people who want to exercise
together. Please book the appointment with a partner; we are unable
to pair people up.
Ideal for: Anyone.
Pilates Session; Group
Up to four people working with an
instructor. In order to participate in these sessions you will have
to complete up to six introductory sessions. Following these
sessions you will be reviewed by your instructor or your
physiotherapist in order to join the class. Your instructor will
design a personal and tailored programme; this is for you to follow
during the group sessions.
Ideal for: Those with some basic foundation.
Pilates Cardio Tone
55 minutes of fun! Cardio-Tone is
the most popular class at PilatesClinic. It is a calorie burning
cardio-fitness and power workout. We will incorporate the use of
the reformer, tower, small apparatus and classical floor work in
one session. Cardio Tone delivers the strength conditioning effects
Pilates is known for, as well as a heart-rate boosting or
cardiovascular workout. Ideal for: Appropriate level
Pilates Classical Mat and Tower work
Up to five people and one instructor
exercising on the mat and tower following the Pilates exercise
method. These sessions are designed to develop muscle strength,
toned body, improve posture, flexibility, balance and control.
Using the tower's springs, the bar and the feet straps, adds
variety and demands greater body control.
Ideal for: Any age or fitness level.
Post Natal
Following the delivery of your
child, this class will help you to improve your posture, ease back
pain, give you lean, strong muscles, enhanced mental and physical
stamina.
Ideal for: new mothers including those new to Pilates.
Beyond the mat
Up to five experienced participants.
This is an integrated system that combines mat work and
equipment-based exercises. It is a challenging workout, which is
rarely taught these days. This programme will help you to achieve a
strong and lean physique. It is for anyone who seeks optimal
fitness, a competitive edge and a good challenge.
Ideal for: Advanced level and Pilates Instructors.
